Contradictions in some verses of the Quran
Surah al-Nisa 4: 82 Do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it had been from other than Allah, they would have found within it much inconsistency
Surah Yunus 10: 94 So if you are in doubt about what We have sent down to you, then ask those who read the Book before you The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters
1- Does Allah compel people to worship Him
Surah al-Anfal 8: 39. And fight them until there is no fitna and the religion is entirely for Allah But if they cease, then indeed Allah is Seeing of what they do.
Surah Yunus 10: 99 And if your Lord had willed, whoever is on the earth would have believed, all of them together Will you then compel the people until they become believers
Surah al-Baqara 2: 256 No compulsion in religion The right way has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in the false deity and believes in Allah has grasped the firmest handhold that will never break and Allah is Hearing, Knowing
Surah al-Kafirun 109: 6 For you is your religion and for me is my religion
2- Replacing verses of the Quran
Surah Yunus 10: 64 For them are good tidings in this worldly life and in the Hereafter There is no changing the words of Allah That is the great attainment
Surah al-Kahf 18: 27 And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord No one can alter His words and you will not find any refuge besides Him
Surah al-Nahl 16: 101 And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse and Allah knows best what He sends down they say, You are only a fabricator. Rather, most of them do not know
Surah al-Baqara 2: 106 Whatever verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten We bring forth better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent
Surah al-Ra'd 13: 39 Allah erases what He wills and confirms; and with Him is the Mother of the Book
Surah al-Hijr 15: 9 Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed We will be its guardian
Surah al-Baqara 2: 256 This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for the God-conscious
3- Did Pharaoh drown or was he saved
Surah Yunus 10 : 89- 92 And We brought Bani Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and hostility, until when drowning overtook him he said I believe that there is no deity except the One in whom Bani Israel believed and I am of the Muslims (90) Now? While you disobeyed before and were among the corrupters (91) So today We will preserve you in your body so that you may be a sign for those who come after you. And indeed, many among the people are heedless of Our signs
Surah al-Isra 17 : 102-103 He said You certainly know that none sent down these as evidences except the Lord of the heavens and the earth and indeed I think O Pharaoh that you are doomed(102) So he intended to drive them from the land so We drowned him and those with him all together
4- Who are the messengers to the nations
Surah Ibrahim 14: 4 And We did not send any messenger except in the language of his people to make things clear to them. Then Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills, and He is the Almighty, the Wise
al-Nahl 16: 36 And indeed We have sent to every nation a messenger saying Worship Allah and avoid the false deity. Among them were those whom Allah guided and among them were those upon whom misguidance was due. So travel through the earth and see how was the end of the deniers
Surah al-'Ankabut 29: 26 And We granted him Ishaq and Ya'qub and We placed within his descendants prophethood and the Book and We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he is among the righteous
Surah al-Hadid 57: 26 And We certainly sent Nuh and Ibrahim and We placed among their descendants prophethood and the Book and among them is one guided but many of them are defiantly disobedient
5- Intercession belongs to Allah alone
Yunus 10: 3 Indeed your Lord is Allah who created the heavens and the earth in 6 days, then established Himself upon the Throne, arranging the affair There is no intercessor except after His permission That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Will you not remember
Surah as-Sajda 32: 4 Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in 6 days, then established Himself upon the Throne You have no protector or intercessor besides Him Will you not take heed
Surah az-Zumar 39: 44 Say To Allah belongs all intercession To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; then to Him you will be returned (44) And when Allah alone is mentioned the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those apart from Him are mentioned, behold, they rejoice
6- Number of the Plagues of Egypt
Surat al-A'raf 7:131-132 And they said, Whatever sign you bring us to bewitch us with it, we will never believe you (132) So We sent upon them the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood as distinct signs; but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.
Surat al-Isra 17:101 And We certainly gave Moses nine signs, clear proofs; so ask the Children of Israel when he came to them, and Fir'awn said to him, Indeed, I think you, O Moses, are bewitched.
The plagues upon Fir'awn and the Egyptians were ten, not nine, as detailed precisely in the Book of Exodus chapters 7-12, and they are: Blood. Frogs. Gnats. Flies. Death of livestock. Boils. Hail. Locusts. Darkness. Death of the firstborn. They do not include the flood or lice.
7- Stages of fetal development
Surat al-Mu'minun 12-14 We created man from an extract of clay (12) Then We placed him as a drop in a secure resting place (13) Then We created the drop into a clinging clot, then We created the clot into a lump, then We created the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We produced him as another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
Bones do not form before flesh; rather, their formation begins within his body (his flesh and muscles).
8- The length of pregnancy in the Qur'an
Surat al-Ra'd 13:8 Allah knows what every female bears and what the wombs diminish and what they increase, and everything with Him is by measure.
Scholars in the hadith state that the length of pregnancy can be 4 years. Does this agree with science and reality?
9- Differences between the Qur'an and the Gospel in many topics, including:
Surat al-Ankabut 29:39 And Qarun and Fir'awn and Haman; and indeed Moses came to them with clear proofs, but they were arrogant in the land, and they could not outstrip Us.
Haman was the prime minister of King Ahasuerus, king of Media and Persia, who came hundreds of years after the time of the prophet Moses and was not from Egypt at all.
Surat Taha 83-85 What has made you hasten from your people, O Moses (83) He said, They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased (84) He said, Then indeed We have tested your people after you, and al-Samiri has led them astray.
The city of Samaria was built in hundreds of years in the Kingdom of Israel after the time of the prophet Moses, and it was not with the Jews in Sinai at all.
Surat al-Qasas 28:9 And the wife of Pharaon said, A comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he will benefit us, or we may take him as a son, while they did not perceive.
The one who adopted him was the daughter of Pharaoh, not his wife.
Changing some of the Beautiful Names of God
Surat al-A'raf 7:180 To Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, so call upon Him by them, and leave those who deviate concerning His Names. The researcher Dr. Mahmoud Abd al-Razzaq changed 21 of the Beautiful Names of God, having demonstrated that they do not befit God, to other names, which were approved and adopted by the Islamic Research Academy, in addition to ten scholars from Saudi Arabia who agreed to print and publish them.
The hadiths,
Indeed the prince Muhammad bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, said that the Saudi government in legal matters is obligated to apply the texts of the Noble Qur'an and obligated to apply the texts of the mass-transmitted hadiths, and it considers solitary hadiths according to their authenticity, circumstances, and status, and it does not consider the hadith of report at all unless you base an opinion upon it that has a benefit for people, confirming at the same time that there is no penalty for a religious matter except by a clear Qur'anic text or hadith. (Meaning that only 105 hadiths remain.)
Burning the Qurans,
The third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan, gathered all the mushafs (QURAN) that existed during his rule and burned them, leaving only one mushaf, which is the mushaf circulated now.
The question here: why did he burn them? Were there differences among them?
