The Calling Of
The Prophet Muhammad

The Prophet had times of worship in a cave called Hara. A being appeared to him several times, but the Prophet did not know whether it was an angel from heaven or a jinn (an evil spirit). Once this being came near the Prophet and pressed him hard three times until the Prophet thought he would die. The being commanded him to read, and the Prophet Muhammad answered, "I cannot read." Then the being said, "Read in the name of your Lord who created the universe ..."

He went trembling to his wife Khadija and asked her to cover him until he calmed down. Then he told his wife what had happened. She assured him: "God will never forsake you because you are kind and generous and you feed the poor, etc."

God declares in the Holy Book that when He sends an angel with a message to someone, if the person is afraid, the angel tells him not to fear and says to him, "Peace to you." This happened with Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist (Luke 11:1-20), with the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-33), and with Daniel (Daniel 9:21-23). The angel states the message clearly and then departs.

Did the Prophet Muhammad need confirmation from a woman that what appeared to him was an angel and not Satan? This never happened with any prophet at all, and Islam considers women deficient in mind and religion, and grants them half the privileges of a man.

The Prophet Muhammad
died by poisoning

In the book al-Rawd al-Anuf, part four, we read that when the Prophet was visiting Zaynab bint al-Harith, the wife of Salam ibn Mishkam, she prepared a roasted sheep over the fire for the Prophet and asked him which part of the sheep the Messenger of God loved most. He replied, the shoulder. She put a great deal of poison into that part, then poisoned the rest of the sheep and brought it for him to eat. The Prophet began to eat from the shoulder, but he found the taste bad and spat it out. With him was his companion Bishr ibn al-Bara ibn Ma'rur, who ate and swallowed. Then the Messenger of God called Zaynab and told her that he could tell the meat was poisoned. She confessed. He asked her why she had done that. She answered: "My people told me something you already know, and I thought: if he is only a king, we will get rid of him, but if he is a prophet, he will be warned." Well, Bishr died from the piece he ate. The Prophet also fell ill from the piece he had put in his mouth, and his intestines gave him excruciating pain until he died. All the Muslims decided that the Prophet died a martyr and that God honored him.

The Prophet of Mercy

Surah 21 : 107 And We have not sent you except as a mercy to all the worlds.

In the Sirah of Ibn Hisham — the dispute of Banu Farasa (Explaining Sahih al-Bukhari li-Fath al-Bari, page 570). There was a respected elderly woman named Umm Qirfa who did not believe in the Prophet's message and spoke badly about him. Then the Prophet sent a group of soldiers to bring her; each of her legs was tied to a camel, and the camels were driven in opposite directions until she was torn in two.

By contrast, during the ministry of the Lord Jesus, although He was accused of madness, of being a Samaritan, of being possessed by a demon, or of being a deceiver, He did not take revenge and did not defend Himself.

According to the book "Wives of the Messenger" by Dr. Bint al-Shati, when the Prophet fought the Jews at Khaybar, he took captive a newly married woman named Safiyya bint Huyayy, and he took her as his wife the very next day after the killing of her husband, father, brothers, and uncle, without giving her time to mourn or to find out whether she was pregnant. Is this a merciful messenger?

The Spread of Islam

Surah 8: 39. And fight them until there is no more fitna and the religion is entirely for Allah; but if they cease, then indeed Allah is Seeing of what they do.

Surah 47: 4 So when you meet those who disbelieve, strike the necks until, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly; then either release them as a favor afterwards or ransom them until the war lays down its burdens. That is so. And if Allah willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them; but He ordained it to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the way of Allah—He will never let their deeds go astray.

Surah 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day, who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and who do not acknowledge the religion of truth among the People of the Book, until they pay the jizya while humbled.

There are many hadiths that explain what the Prophet Muhammad did:

In Musnad Ahmad hadith 6996 I have come to you for killing and I was sent for harvesting, not for planting.

In Sunan al-Tirmidhi hadith 1553 I was given victory by terror and I obtained the spoils.

In Sahih al-Bukhari hadith 1067 Allah made my provision under the shade of my spear and He humiliated and belittled those who opposed my commands.

The truth is that the Prophet Muhammad fought all the tribes of the Arabian Desert and subjugated them. He killed the men who opposed him and took booty from the women and children and sold them for weapons. People feared his authoritarian rule and accepted Islam. After his death many apostatized from Islam, but Abu Bakr fought them and forced them to return to Islam.

Yet the Christ did not raise a sword against people, nor did His followers. When Peter went to protect Jesus from the soldiers, Jesus rebuked him,

Matthew 26: 52 Then Jesus said to him: "Put your sword back in its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword!"

He taught love even for his enemies, and peace and holiness. By the power of His Spirit and the authority of His word, people were changed, and Christianity spread throughout the world.

The Prophet was not certain of
his eternal destiny

Sura 19: 71 And there is not one of you but will come to it; that is with your Lord an inevitable decree.

In Sahih al-Bukhari 5968 and Sahih Muslim 1441 (71/2816) the Prophet said,

"No one will enter Paradise by his deeds," so the people said, "Even you, O Messenger of God?"

He answered, "Even me, unless God envelops me with His mercy and forgiveness."

If the most favoured Prophet was not sure, what about the ordinary Muslim?

The prophet Job was a righteous man, and God said about him to Satan in

Job 1: 8 "Have you set your heart on my servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil."

And Job cried out in:

Job 25: 4-5 "How then can man be righteous before God? And how can he be pure who is born of a woman? Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in His eyes."

The prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 64:6 says, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

King David in Psalm 14:2-3 said, "The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought God. They have all turned aside; they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one."

The apostle Paul says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.”

God has provided justification (to be declared innocent of any evil deed) by grace through faith and not by works.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you are saved through faith; and that is not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest anyone should boast.

In the Gospel we find that the people of God were certain and ready to go to be with their God.

Enoch was taken up to heaven.

Genesis 5:24 "And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him." and Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was translated so that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

Moses — God oversaw his burial

Deuteronomy 34:5-6 "So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor; and no man knows his grave to this day."

Elijah was taken up to heaven in a chariot of fire

As described in Book of 2 Kings 2:11-12 "And as they went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated them both; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it and cried, 'My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!' And he saw him no more; and he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces."

The apostle Paul in Philippians 1:23 "For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better."

And in 2 Timothy 4:6-8 "For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."

The apostle Peter in 2 Peter 1:13-15 "Yes, I think it is right—as long as I am in this tent—to stir you up by reminding you, knowing that the putting off of my tent is soon, just as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me. Moreover, I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my departure."

We can all be confident of heaven if we place our full trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died in our place on the cross of Golgotha and rose on the third day. If we repent of our sins and accept His sacrifice on the cross, we can receive eternal life.

The Quran and the Hadith always speak well of Jesus and that he was not touched by Satan. Therefore, what he said must be true, and here are some of the sayings of Jesus as written in the Holy Bible, which has not changed:

John 10:9-11 "I am the door: if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."

To be saved from eternal destruction and go to heaven, you must come to Him in faith and trust Him for your salvation. You will also enjoy His goodness and care throughout your life and find meaning for your existence.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father except through Me."

He is the way to the Father in heaven, and there is no other way to go to heaven.

He is the truth, and the truth is God. Where can you find truth itself except in God?

He is the life and whoever rejects Him will suffer eternal death. He is the giver of life.

John 11:5-20 "Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life: he who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live."

This is His promise that eternal death will not harm those who believe in Him and trust in the work He has done for their salvation. The death that all people face will have no power to keep people in the grave; rather, they will rise to eternal life in heaven.

John 5:24-28 "Truly, truly, I say to you: he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 28 Do not marvel at this: for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice."

Islam acknowledges that Jesus is the one who will come and judge the world. So if you want to escape the final sentence of death, trust what Jesus said and believe in Him.

To the reader of this tract, you have two choices, not three. I hope you all find eternal life and do not come into judgment or face eternal death, as we are warned in the Book of Revelation.

Revelation 20:11-15 "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged by the things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."

After comparing the Quran and the Holy Bible, I am confident in my faith and do not deserve to be called an unbeliever (KAFER). If you want to be a Muslim, that is your free choice. Everyone will have the Lord to judge him, not man.

Dear reader,

God exists and eternity is coming soon. If you are serious, pray and ask the God who created you to show you the truth and the way you should follow so that you will not be condemned but will have heaven as your eternal destination.
