THE CREATOR

Sura 23:14 Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.

 

Sura 37:125 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators
The Quran here says that there are creators but we know there is only one Creator.

THE SUN

Sura 18:86 Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set-ting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish or else adopt among them goodness." Su-ra 18:90 Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield.

The Arab desert people thought the sun sets in a well of black miry clay, as described in the poem by Umyah Ebn Abby El Salat who said that the one who has two horns (ie Alexander the Great) went abroad until he reached the place where the sun sets and found it set in a well of black miry clay, as already explained by El Tabary one of the top scholars. But science shows that the sun is more than one million times the size of the earth. How can it set in a well when it is millions of kilometres away? And if the sun comes closer to the earth, the earth would be burned up. Also by saying that the sun rises on people means that the sun rises from a particular place. But we see the sun from the far horizon and it rises on the whole world.

THE MOON

Sura 54:1 The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].
The moon is split into two halves. In Hadith 25297 and 25298 Shobah said that in the time of the apostle Mohammad the moon was split into two: one part went on the mountain and one part went behind the mountain and the apostle said, “God be witness!”

How can people say that the moon has been split into two halves in the days of the prophet and that “God be witness”? It is a fact that the size of the moon is bigger than the biggest ocean.

THE STARS

Sura 67:5 And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.
The stars are actually very big solid planets, far larger than the earth and the devils are spiritual beings. How can these spirits be affected by material things? And who can hold these huge planets to throw at devils?

THE SKY

Sura 22:65 Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you whatever is on the earth and the ships which run through the sea by His command? And He restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission. Indeed Allah, to the people, is Kind and Merciful.

However, it is a well-known fact that the sky is the atmosphere surrounding the earth. How can God hold it to stop it falling on the earth?

Sura 21:30 Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing?

Sura 79:28 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.

Sura 13:2 It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see.

From these verses the Quran asserts that the heaven is a solid structure and was jointed with the earth, and then God separated them and raised the sky and made it a protective ceiling without columns and held it to stop it fall-ing on the earth. We know that the heaven is the outside atmosphere and not a solid material.

THE SEVEN HEAVENS AND THE SEVEN EARTHS

Sura 65:12 It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them.

Sura 67:3 Who created the seven heavens one upon another.

Sura 2:29 “It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.”

Sura 21:30 Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? 31 And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads that they might be guided. 32 And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.

Sura 79:27 Are you a more difficult creation or is the heav-en? Allah constructed it. 28 He raised its ceiling and pro-portioned it.

Sora 13:2 It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

Heaven has never ever been joined to the earth; it is the out-side atmosphere and not solid material like the earth. It is not a ceiling without pillars. There are no seven earths in layers there is one earth only and it is like sphere.

THE EARTH

Surah 13:3 And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. (See also: Surah 16:15; 21:31; 31:10)

However, it is known that the earth is spherical and not flat, has gravity, and orbits around the sun once a year and rotates once a day.

HISTORY

Sura 28:38 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "O chiefs! I know not that you have an ilah (a god) other than me, so kindle for me (a fire), O Haman, to bake (bricks out of) clay, and set up for me a Sarhan (a lofty tower, or palace, etc.) in order that I may look at (or look for) the Ilah (God) of Musa (Mo-ses); and verily, I think that he [Musa (Moses)] is one of the liars."

Haman was the chief minister to King Ahasuerus of Persia and lived in Persia. However, there are 1,500 years between him and the Pharaoh in Moses’ time, so how could Haman be in Egypt at that time?
